M1300764 "The Walls"

                        "All Along The Watch Tower"

M1300764 provides us with a certainly curious set of questions.

Defined as 'Smaller valleys in terrain S of E end of Harmakhis Vallis' on the overall image, which can be viewed here in entirety:
http://www.msss.com/moc_gallery/m13_m18/images/M13/M1300764.html,

What we see here within this image is instead a set of organized lineations, ones which are contrary to local morphology, and are of an organization much more suggestive of artificial than natural construction. At the stated resolution of 5.5 meters per pixel, these lines literally run for kilometers, and are joined by other walls at abrupt right angles

As of the time of this writing, there has been no other contexting view of this anomaly. Perhaps further insight will be given when and if MRO goes over this area and returns my request for a better look.

I invite all to explore the larger enhanced version by clicking the image to the left.  See what I mean by the images caption.

In case of added interest, I am also supplying the entire enhanced image strip, which is full of interesting features. You can see it here
